Jeremy got this cheese container thing at the store today. So you buy the cheese and it looks like that (on the left). Then you unwrap it and put it into the base and slide the plastic cover on top. Brilliant! This is my new favorite cheese thing. It cost 4€, but think of all the money we will save on ziploc bags that get increasingly wrinkly and uncloseable and gross old cheesy smelly!
Discussion question: when you were young, did your family routinely store those big 2-lb blocks of cheddar cheese by putting a sandwich-sized ziploc bag over the exposed end of the cheese, and then securing it with a rubber band? No? Then how did they store cheese??
