In general, I have never really cared for any particular Oscars dress, but I caught a glimpse of Naomi Watts and WOW. That dress is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen!

I enjoy a good rant by Orson Scott Card, when I agree with him. In this post, he writes at length about people enduring longer and longer commutes so they can afford bigger and bigger homes, at the expense (counterintuitively) of happiness. Very interesting food for thought.
