Spring chill
The weird thing about the first hints of spring is that it temporarily seems so much colder than winter was In the dead of January, it's -15C outside and you nonchalantly tell the kids to go outside and play. Now, in mid-March, it's getting to be +5C and sunny and you're side-eyeing outside like "welllll, it's a bit cold to send the kids out..." Something about the increased daylight and lack of snow resets the "acceptable temperature" meter. I suppose it's all about the state of mind.
Oh, the sun is nice, though. I remember feeling sun-starved last year when March and April came around. I can't wait until it's warm enough to actually expose some skin to those beautiful rays!
